At the centre of therapy
there is a relationship
Methods matter. But the first condition for being able to work on anything is a relationship you trust. That's where our way of working starts.
Person-centred practice
The same diagnosis can look very different in two people. That's why we don't apply a ready-made prescription; we build the process together with you.
You know your own life best. Our work is to try to understand it together.
"No two individuals are the same, and no two sessions are either."
"Being evidence-based means following new research and bringing it into practice."
Research and clinical experience
We work with methods that have been researched, such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy and ACT. We use them not as rigid protocols but flexibly, according to what we're working on.
We try to keep both research and clinical experience in view.
Trauma-informed care
It is hard to expect a behaviour to change without understanding where it comes from. We look first at the experiences behind it.
Working on trauma needs safe ground first. There's no need to rush.
"There is always meaning behind behaviour."
The methods we work with
Not one model, but frameworks we use together, depending on the person and the subject.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
A structured, goal-focused approach for recognising thought patterns and replacing them with more functional ones.
Psychodynamic Therapy
A more in-depth approach that takes up unconscious processes and early relationship patterns.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
An approach centred on accepting rather than suppressing emotions and living in line with personal values.
Systemic Therapy
A framework that views the individual within their family, relationships and environment. Commonly used in family therapy.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Mindfulness-based techniques for working on the relationship you have with stress and anxiety.
